Acorns Motor Cycle Club Ltd

Welcome to the website for the Acorns Motor Cycle Club.

Formed on May 13th 1964 the club has been affiliated to the A.M.C.A. since that date.

The Acorns has a rich history within the organisation and has over the years produced riders of exceptional ability in both MX and trials disciplines - Paul Lippit AMCA 4 stroke champion, Pete Ruscoe AMCA trials champion and Mick Tomkinson, a stalwart of the 125 IMBA class from late 70's to mid 80's and currently a veteran of both Paris Dakar rally and past winner of tuareg rally. There have been many more who have "Served with Distinction" and hopefully pictures will appear in our gallery section to immortalise their efforts!

Currently the club has a bias toward the classic side of the Sports but we are keen to foster and nurture all era's and disciplines of motorcycle sport, including shows, rallies, etc.

The club meets weekly at the Royal Oak public house in Gnosall, Staffordshire. We are a small, friendly and enthusiastic crowd of "know it all anoraks" and new faces will be greeted with open arms, so feel free to come and join us!

Keep an eye on our Forthcoming Events section for up-to-date info on forthcoming promotions and events.
